Hello !
I have some questions about HP9000 Servers D230 and K250:
1) Where could I find a table of K250 Performance ?
2) May I have a performance comparison between these 2 models (D230/1 and K250/2)?
3) Do you know if D230 and K250 have been discontinued by HP ?
Thanks
Leila

Solution
Hi,
D class information is at the following web page
http://www.unixservers.hp.com/entrylevel/dclass/specifications/index.html
K class information is at the following web page
http://www.unixservers.hp.com/midrange/kclass/specifications/index.html
The web pages give some information on performance. However, it does not mention the K250. I can't recall a K250 though.
The performance will be in between a k240 and k260, if there is a ssuch a product.
I think that you must be able to buy these products still, but you might have to have refubished units.
I hope this helps
Andrew

Re: D230 / K250 Information
The K250 did in fact exist. It was the first K series box to have a PA8000 architecture and the cpu's run at 160mhz. I have not seen much published regarding comparative performance on this model, but based on the tpm estimate it should have 85-90% as that of a Kx60 machine which runs at 180mhz.
