Does anyone know off hand what the name of the DAT DDS-3 tape driver that needs to be IN on the kernel for it to work

In addition..
Sometimes the tape drive would bind to the driver "tape2" if the tape drive is connected externally. I would suggest adding "tape2" driver in the kernel also (just in case). You should also make sure you have the latest stape cumulative patch install.
