DC Overvoltage Power Shutdown

Hi Unix Gurus,
I have K Class machine, I have tried to hardboot the machine but it showed "DC Overvoltage Power Shutdown" on Front Panel LCD.What the cause of this message?What should I do to solve this problem?Thanks in advance ....

Log onto GSP and check poer suplies. (Ps command)

Make sure poer supplies are OK and has no problems.

Hi,

When you saw the message below on your K-class front LCD panel :

DC OVERVOLTAGE
SHUTDOWN +X.Y V

This is a problem caused by :

An overvoltage condition has been detected on the specified D.C. voltage (+X.Y)

And the action need to follow are :
1. Replace Power Supply or/and
2. Replace PM card

Call HP and log HW call for this issue.

Hi

Seems to be problem with Power supply or Power Monitor Card. Replace the supply first and then check. Before doing so check input power supply as well
