The newer model is an rp7410 which can be split into virtual systems (v-Par & n-Par) An N class is not upgradable to this, it is a forklift upgrade.

As far as looking at the current system and memory modules:

# echo "selclass qualifier memory;info;wait;infolog" | cstm

(as long as diagnostics are loaded this will work.)
Anyone for a Mutiny ?

Re: Details Required 9000/800/N4000-44

hi,

Memory Option:
Please run stm-->information to get the details of memory.
Option of upgrade:
you will find out from the log itself whether there is an option of memory upgrade.
Equivalent Model:
I will take this as a model just above it
because you are already talking of upgrading n-class.
Please look for a one step higher model than this.
rp7400 = N-class
rp7410
rp7405
rp7420
