Re: Details on server specifications class wise ( entry / mid range /high )
this link is for the latest superdome and rp series:
http://www.hp.com/products1/servers/HP9000_family_overview.html
the older models, i.e. A/K/L/V etc are not easy to find, but this one has a "Discontinued product" link:
http://www.hp.com/products1/servers/9000_discontinued.html
or try this:
http://www.abtechsys.com/hp_servers/hp_servers.html
regards.

Re: Details on server specifications class wise ( entry / mid range /high )
i do not suppose they group the previous series, i.e. K/L/N/A/... into these classes. probably only server or workstation classes.
i believe they only started it with the current rp series. some more info:

Re: Details on server specifications class wise ( entry / mid range /high )
For information on old systems, You might want to look at http://www.openpa.net .
I'll do a small dump, but not all might be correct :(
old:
D-Class/R-Class, entry
K-Class 1-6 CPU, 120-280MHz, midrange
V-Class 1-32 CPU, something-450MHz, highend
not so old:
A-Class, 180-850MHz entry
L-Class, 360-??? MHz entry-to-midrange
N-Class, 360-650 MHz midrange to highend
still V-Class and Superdome
current:
these all go by rpSomething, I don't know them by heart.
Keystone, midrange
Matterhorn's, highend
Superdome, highend

Re: Details on server specifications class wise ( entry / mid range /high )
This attachment is 3 years old, but it covers many of the servers you are asking about. It does not have any of the Itanium (rx) or the newer rp (rp7620/rp8420)lines. Does this give you what you were looking for?
Good Luck - Tim
