Different Device Specifying Default Route 10.20

I need to know how you specify a different device when setting a default route
with the route command. It assigns ni0 and I am not trying to hook up through
ppl or a slip connection - I need this to be lan0.

Keith, it almost sounds like lan0 is not configured. If so, and you have the
route configured in /etc/rc.config.d/netconf, then a reboot should direct the
default gateway to lan0. To test, the syntax is
#route add default 1 < if using a remote router
