Is there a way to disable certain amount of memory, like the way we can disable CPU ?
I like to reduce the memory from 512 MB to 256MB to reproduce a problem.

To fill in on Michael question. There is a way of regulating resource usage (like memory). You can do that with PRM. You have to devide processes in to process-groups. To each group you can assign a specific amount of memory or CPU power.
