Disable Memory in K Class Server

Is there a way to disable certain amount of memory, like the way we can disable CPU ?

I like to reduce the memory from 512 MB to 256MB to reproduce a problem.

I don't think so. As far as I know your only option is to remove the memory from the memory carriers.

can you tell us more about the problem, you want to reproduce? Maybe there is another way to do that.

To fill in on Michael question. There is a way of regulating resource usage (like memory). You can do that with PRM. You have to devide processes in to process-groups. To each group you can assign a specific amount of memory or CPU power.
