Is there a way to disable a cpu in L3000 series ?.
Something Similar to asr-disable in the Sun OpenBoot.
I need to run some benchmarking and use only two cpus out of the four on the server.
Thanks

Re: Disable a CPU
--------------------------------------------
HOWTO DISABLE CPU for D SERIES
------------------------------
The command to disable a processor is available in PDC. Go to the
SERvice menu and use the CPU command.
The syntax is:
CPUconfig [
You will need to make sure the machine goes thru a power on cycle before
booting HP-UX.

Re: Disable a CPU
Interrupt the boot by pressing any key within the 10 seconds
type CO (enter configuration mode)
type CPU to find out the processors
co> CPU
reset to reboot the machine

Re: Disable a CPU
However I'd like to get more in depth concerning the l3000
(rp5470) boot process (before loading the OS I searched docs.hp.com and nothing came up. Did I miss anything ?
Any docs you know about?
Thanks Again.
