I'd like to buy a 18 GB disk for my 968RX hp3000 model.
It should be an internal one (not for storage enclosure).
Do you know some model,part-number,or exchange p/n compatible?
Thank you
Marco

Re: Disc for a 968RX Hp3000 model
Hello Marco,
Internal 18GB HDD disc for e3000 series 9x8 servers, use this part number A5545-69002.
Make sure the MPE/iX OS has the necessary patch to support the 18GB.
Take a look at the file IODFAULT.PUB.SYS; if 18GB discs SYSGEN ID names are included in the file, most likely the OS version the server is running supports the 18GB discs.

Re: Disc for a 968RX Hp3000 model
Thank you!.
The file you're talking about contains some records with 18 gb discs but with 3 different kind of type: SE (single ended), DF (differential scsi) and FC. Which one?
