Hi,
We have a SD3200 with hp-ux 11.11, and lets say we have 2 partitions in the SD:
partition 0: cell 0,1,2,3 iochasis 0-0-1 0-1-3
partition 1: cell 4,5,6 iochassis 0-1-1 0-1-3
And cell 7 isn't used, now we need to create a new partition. the problem is cell7 doesn't have a io chassis connected. So we need to remove a io-chassis from partition 0(0-1-3 hardware not in use) and add it to the new partition 2. To make this change we have to change the reo cables from cell 2 that is attached to 0-1-3, and connect them to cell7.
My question is, is it ok only to stop partition 0 and partition 2, or do I have to stop the hole SD to make this changes in the reo cables ?.
Thanks

Re: Do we need to stop the full sd3200 to change REO link cables
Hi, Torsten, no support on a couple of parisc SDs we have left.
Bad news, if we have to stop the full dome, I have Just configured on the A500 sms of the SD, to run tests before starting, being able to read Justs cryptic output is another thing!.
Thanks
