Eisa card on hp ux 10.20

I recently upgrdae my system from hp ux 10.20 to hp ux 11.0 on d200 server. Now when i started the sam the eisa mux card HWP1520 shows in unclaimed state and i cant configure any terminal or modem on this mux card. How can i install this card?

hi,

check if this software is installed

if not download it from here and install it or from the 11 applications cd's

it will have the driver for the eisa card or look for the driver for the card on the apps cd J248x

Have you update or reinstall you server.
Eisa card are only supported on hpux 11.00 if you install it in 32 bit mode

Unclaimed means the driver is not in the kernel. You will need to rebuild the kernel with the eisa driver in it. If you canot find the driver in the SAM pick list, then you will need to download the driver from HP and install it.

Hi Hanwant,

I agree with Luk.
IF you're running 64-bit 11.0 then you cannot use any EISA devices. They're only active with a 32-bit OS.
