Error running setboot on 11.,11 64bit

Hi,
When I try and use the setboot command I get the following:

setboot -v
Primary bootpath : 8/4.5.0
Alternate bootpath : 8/16/5.0.0

Autoboot is ON (enabled)
Autosearch is ON (enabled)

setboot: error accessing firmware - Operation not supported
Unknown error 1 encountered by setboot(1M)
Unknown error 1 encountered by setboot(1M)
#

setboot -t FASTBOOT=on
setboot: error accessing firmware - Operation not supported
Unknown error 1 encountered by setboot(1M)
setboot: error accessing firmware - Operation not supported
Unknown error 1 encountered by setboot(1M)


Any ideas??

it just sounds like your on an older server?

setboot wasnt configurable in hpux on the older systems, not like the newer ones.

You need to reboot to PDC and you can change it there

The firmware you've posted '42.10' is for the D390 class, it seems like you would need:
Patch Name: /firmware_patches/hp/cpu/PF_CULU4211
Description: HP 9000 Dx70/Dx80/R380 Firmware revision 42.11
Date : 02/03/21
Patch Size : 1455 KBytes

I don't know the differences, but maybe it helps.
