Event Monitor : Software Configuration Error

Receiving event monitor notifications for a disk device on one of our servers:

sctsm sent Event Monitor notification information:

/storage/events/disks/default/8_4.6.0 is >= 3.
Its current value is MAJORWARNING(3).

Is this anything to worry about ??
Does firmware need to be upgraded on the server??

You first need to check and verify that the drive is okay:

# stm

Select the device at the specific hardware path and run available tools. Make sure it's not reporting any error. You can also check it with 'dd' command. If you don't find any error, keep oberving your log files.
