FC10. A6795 or A5158

Hi,
Actually I have a L1000 conecto to EVA with A6795A. I need to connect to FC10. It┬┤s necesary to change the A6795A for A5158A? it┬┤s supported both cards.

Thanks in advance, Jorge

The A6795A will work fine with the FC10. I have an N4000 with 4 A6795A cards with 2 x FC10s attached to each card.

It works well.

Jorge,

Make a direct connection with a dedicated card to your FC10.

Don't connect your FC10 to you eva san switch

Re: FC10. A6795 or A5158

Hi

I planed to conect directly, not over SAN, I also think it works, but the question is:
Is a supported solution? Where I see the matrix compatibility?

Thanks, Jorge

I don't think there is a "compatibility matrix" for these. As I said previously, I am doing this and it is supported by HP. There should be no issues with support contracts.
