FIRMWARE QUESTION AGAIN

I am running Revision A.2.35 OF pdc .I got the same by pdscinfo.Now when i get the hardware inventory of the system by stm , I see that the state of power supply and fans is "unknown".Plus there is a failure of FAN6. is this a firmware issue .Can anybody point me to the hardware map of N-4000 system.

Hi again manu,

1. Problem about reboot (if you are talking about FAN failure then it is an hw problem):
you should open an hw call with HP in order to manage this hardware problem about FAN failure.

2. update of PDC firmware:
# echo "selclass qualifier cpu;info;wait;infolog" | /usr/sbin/cstm | grep PDC

to check the PDC firmware.

PHSS_30724 if you have HP-UX 11.11
PHSS_30723 if you have HP-UX 11.00
