1. Problem about reboot (if you are talking about FAN failure then it is an hw problem):
you should open an hw call with HP in order to manage this hardware problem about FAN failure.
2. update of PDC firmware:
# echo "selclass qualifier cpu;info;wait;infolog" | /usr/sbin/cstm | grep PDC
to check the PDC firmware.
PHSS_30724 if you have HP-UX 11.11
PHSS_30723 if you have HP-UX 11.00
