Re: FLT 701A error coming in HP9000 E45 server console
Hi,
you have a memory error on Dimm 1A.
replace/reseat the Dimm, if this does not help, replace the CPU card.
best regards
Stefan

Re: FLT 701A error coming in HP9000 E45 server console
thanks. there was a memory module faulty.
but now server is unable to boot after ISL prompt. it gives error as "unable to load this utility into memory" & also gives message as "Resetting boot device".
server details: HP9000/E45/4*64MB DIMM(256MB)/2GB SCSI HDD(root disk) & 18GB SCSI HDD/
O/S ver: HPUX 11.0
now after removing 2*64MB server is having only 128MB. whether this may be the problem or any thing else? like root disk is having some problem or vmunix may be corrupted.
Kindly assist me to sort out this issue.
