FLT B800 while booting from mirror disk
Dear All,
I hv an K360 Server with HPUX 11.00, It was working fine, because of some issues, I had installed fresh OS,Patches, it worked fine.
After everything tested working fine, finally i had mirrored root disk.
While trying to boot from mirror disk, it returns system panic while kernel loading & gives FLT B800 on console as well on LCD Panel.
At the same time if i boot the server with original (primary disk), it works fine, so i don't suspect any hardware.
Can anybody suggest what could hv gone wrong?
Thanks & regds
Dharmendra

Re: FLT B800 while booting from mirror disk
FLT B800 is 'Power-Failed'.
You should check mirror disk with the command 'diskinfo'.
#diskinfo /dev/rdsk/cXtXdX
I think mirror disk is wrong hardwarely.
Good luck^^

Re: FLT B800 while booting from mirror disk
In addition, I'd rather not recommand root disk mirroring on server. Because mirror disk don't protect user's mistakes.
Only mirror disk is useful in case hardware failure.
So, I recommand ignite U/X.^^

Re: FLT B800 while booting from mirror disk
FLT B800 indicates a HW failure. You need to have the system checked out. Potentially a bad core i/o card or processor, etc.
