Fibre Channel card not detected in A500 server (HPUX 11.23)

Dear Collegues,
I have a A class server...
# model
9000/800/A500-44
I am using HPUX 11.23

I have installed Qlogic FC card (QLA 2340) and powered On the server but it is unable to detect the card.

# ioscan -fn doesn't show me the card.
Could u please let me know if this card is supported and if yes where can i find the dirver for the same.

Hi,

this card is not supported under HPUX (only Windows & Linux drivers available from the vendor).
By the way, how did you succeed running HPUX 11.23 on a A500 ? The A500 can run only HPUX 11.11 or 11.0 (PA-Risc) and 11.23 is the IA64 Version of HPUX ;-) On non of the above HPUX versions, the card is supported.
