Fibre Channel change from 62.5 to 50 micro fiber

The center of our SAN's are Brocade 2800 switches and HP Surestore E hubs. We will be relocating the equipment to a new remote location. The spec's I found dictated on the switches and hub say that for the new distance (>175Meters but < 500Meters) would require 50 micron multimode fiber. I have K580's with A6685A cards, L2000's with A5158A cards, and RP-7410's with A6795A cards. Will I encounter any issued on the host ends with the change in fiber core size?

Re: Fibre Channel change from 62.5 to 50 micro fiber

Regarding "...175Meters but < 500Meters)...".

Looks right.

Here's what I have from Brocade:

"...With Short Wave Length GBICs (Gigabit Interface Connectors), cable lengths ... or
500m (with 50 micron multi-mode fiber cable)...."

Regarding "...Will I encounter any issued on the host ends with the change in fiber core size?..."

I don't see how. HBA's are read only devices. And as long as you've got the right connectors and equipment....
