Firmware 44.28 upgraded on the wrong model
Using firmware 44.28 upgraded on Hp rp5400 L3000 instead L2000 the system not boot up.
Anyone out there know how to do rowback to firmware 44.12 Or if anything still possible to get this server back.
Please say anything but need help!!

I know the warning when updating, but is it really possible to burn the wrong image?
Looks like it is.
Did you do this with a patch?
Since this system has no second (backup) NVRAM, you probably lost the systemboard now.

I did by boot with Tape Drive.
It's big mistake on my part. I did not even know the system I was working on is L3000.
And it's my first time on perform firmware upgrade.

hi,
bad luck, but just before you potentially have more bad luck and buy the wrong systemboard, chck the part number of your system and the systemboard in it.
there is an A and a B version
A6144A = L3000
A6144B = RP5470
