Firmware Updates Questions

With Firmware updates moving to the Business Support Center, when you download the updates they are to be installed as iso images.

Are firmware updates no longer available as patch installs ??

It is almost impossible to update firmware on over 30 remote servers that have no one available to mount cdroms on the servers...

Re: Firmware Updates Questions

All firmware updates for servers I searched I found also as a patch ;-)

Hope this helps!

Re: Firmware Updates Questions

I did a product search on rp3440 and it gave me a download file of: PF_CSTORPDC4634.tar.gz which expanded out to an iso file.

Re: Firmware Updates Questions

Mike,

Those firware updates that have patch options are found on the patch database instead of the business center.

Also, FYI, you can mount an ISO image file just like you would a cd..

Re: Firmware Updates Questions

How can you find the firmware patches in the Patch database if you don't have a patch number to search for ?

Re: Firmware Updates Questions

Go to the "find individual patches" link for HP-UX. You can search by keywords there. Entering rp3440 found a few patched, including the one for PDC.
