Firmware upgrade problem
Hi Guys,
I am upgrading rp 3440 dual core..
I upgraded the PDC firmware with no problem. While upgrading the BMC i got to a place where i don't see anything on the screen.
The Line on the screen was
"Firmware download completed --resetting BMC processor". It took more than two hours with out the system reboot or any thing. The previous IP that was on the MP console is still there. I don't know what to do. There is no system error. What should i do now.
Sak

Re: Firmware upgrade problem
Shalom,
This sometimes happen if you miss an interim upgrade.
If you have not updated in a while there may be intermediate steps required to get the final upgrade in. Its in the notes however.

Re: Firmware upgrade problem
Hi,
make sure you have enabled the option
F - Allow MP Firmware upgrade via PCI : Enabled
with the "so" => o command of the Management Processor Command Menu.
