Hi

I would like to know if a newsletter or a alert service exist to which we can subscribe in order to be notified of firmware upgrades for HP 9000 Systems

hi,

There is nothing specifically about firmware releases, but there you can subscribe to the patch database. Most new systems firmware comes as a HPUX patch aswell.

Also if you have support with Hp then they should come and do it for you when needed.

You can get information on new firmware updates sent to you via a service called Subscriber's Choice for HP9000 and Itegrity systems. The link to it is

You will need to drill down and select the products you are interested in.

Look under Business and IT professionals first then select Servers to get a list of server families.
