We are facing a strange problem in our rp5450 server. We are able to see only one serial port, when we go to Add a terminal through SAM. Actually, we need to verify that the remote modem port is working for configuring a modem.
The output of "ioscan -fn" is like:
tty 1 0/0/4/1 func0 CLAIMED interface PCI Serial (103c1048)
/dev/GSP/diag2 /dev/cul0p2 /dev/diag/mux0
/dev/mux0 /dev/ttyd0p2
This means the other serial ports on the GSP are missing. How do I enable those ports? Is there any GSP or PDC firmware upgrade needed to solve this issue. Our GSP firmware version is :
Hardware rev N0 Firmware rev B.02.17
With Best Regards,
Abdul Salam
