How can I find out the GSP ip from normal login.

Hi,

Not direct possible from the hpux prompt, but you can enter the GSP from the console and check the ip-address.

If you are logged vai the LAN connection on the GSP, the ncontrol_B will get you in. If you are logged in via a LAN card in an io slot, you cannot reach the GSP

As far as I know there is no methods to find out console IP from the telnet session.

you can do the following to get the information.

MP login: Admin
MP password:

* Your connection is via Telnet. For improved security this MP *
* now supports SSH-2. Telnet can be disabled via the SA command. *

I missed one thing. The above commands you have to enter in the console of the server. Use a serial console cable to make the connection. Press ^B to get the MP Login:


The default user name and password will be Admin/Admin.
