How true is it that latest Firmware on All N-Class, rpXXXX and SuperDome now restricts LAN COnsole connections to just 10mbps half duplex?

Hi,
Yes it is true as HP has hardcored the MP Lan speed to 10BT Half duplex to prevent MP hang situations. There are no MP options to select 100BT or Auto.
Refer the following latest firmware details for rx8620 , rx7620 rp8420, rp7420

hi nelson,
yes ive heard that there all going to be restricted to 10hd as the firmware upgrades are done
this is to ensure full functionality of the gsp and it doesnt need to be any faster, however it means that you have to make sure the other end is capable of switching down for compatability
