Waiting for response.

Solutionyou need to be on the local console attached to the server.
It also depends which server it is for exact steps, but there is a reset button the GSP card. Press this for a few seconds and watch the local console. You will be asked to press P to confirm reset. you only get a few seconds beofre the option goes.
The N4000 for example has the reset button on the rear core I/O panel, the L class you have to remove the side cover to access the gsp reset button
This will howevewr reset it back to defaults and lose all user passwords/logins and networking aswell

Re: GSP Reset password
To reset the GSP without rebooting the server, log in as root
and issue a command to reset it. At the same time, have someone
in front of the console press and hold the "P" key.
NOTE: A webconsole / remote console will not work. It is
necessary to be in front of the server's console.
After logging in as root, enter the following command to reset
the defaults for GSP:
# stty +resetGSP < /dev/GSPdiag1
Be sure to press the "P" key while entering the command.
DO NOT do an "RS" at the GSP because this will reset/reboot
the server.

will not work on newer machines. The ability to communicate with the GSP or MP was removed in the newer boxes. You will have to use the GSP/MP reset button on the core I/O board.
