GSP error message

Attempt to access GSP results in message[Request for console write access failed!].
There are no other connections. How does one get around this?

Re: GSP error message

Sounds like a session to the console already existed(?).. you have to take control of the console, by issuing a CTRL+Ecf (You need to do "CTRL+C", then press "E&F" together)

Let me know if this helps..

Re: GSP error message

Attempting to take control of the console (^Ecf) results in error message: [Request for console write access failed!]. Maybe there are hung connections. Seems like the GSP needs a reset.

Mahlon-

To reset the GSP, all you should need to do is issue the command:

stty +resetGSP < /dev/GSPdiag1

Try this and let me know if this helps.
