GSP loss of serial console connection
Hi all,
I have a problem with an RP2405 server.
communication between the GSP and the serial console is lost
Unfortunately the LAN console was not previously configured
I need to know if there is a possibility to configure the GSP for LAN console from within the OS once booted
I suspect a serial link problem but believe the LAN connection will work
Please let me know your opnion
NB: Is there a way to test the GSP board functionality for a hrdware defect from the OS ?
I appreciate any feedback
Thanks in advance
Farid

Re: GSP loss of serial console connection
Hi,
you can try reset GSP
stty +resetGSP maybe GSPdiag2
but there is no way to configure LAN console
from OS. You have to use console system.
