Re: GSP password

Hi,
Log on to the "real" console, press CTRL-B, you can then enter the GSP without passwords (only possible at a real console), and use XD to reset the GSP.
You will have to reconfigure it completely though ...

Re: GSP password

As Tom already pointed out you can get passed the GSP username and password by just pressing for each of them. Just so this is not a me too kind of response, I figured that I would put the 3 most commonly used GSP commands here. The first of which is 'sl' which is to show the logs kept by the GSP viewing these will make the alert light stop blinking...hehe. The second would be 'rs' this will perform a hard reboot of the system via the GSP.(useful when you are 40 miles away and all you have is a secure web console and the box is hosed) And the third would be 'co' which returns you to the console. I hope this helps.

Re: GSP password

Hi,

if you run the command

# stty +resetGSP < /dev/GSPdiag1

from the console, a message like

"press 'p' within 5 sec to reset all user accounts"

should come up.

Hope this helps!
