GSP rp5450 GSP Cable

May I use other GSP Cable (not A5191-63001 or A6144-63001), for example :
RS232 pinouts
2 - 3 ___ Tx-Rx
3 - 2 ___ Rx-Tx
5 - 5 ___ GND

Thanks!

Re: GSP rp5450 GSP Cable

Hi,
you need standard null-modem cable,
I'am using cisco console cable and it works fine,
I have never tried "two-wire" cable, but maby you will need to jumber some pins, look at pages:

You can use null-modem cable with GSP.
I have used it and it works fine.

As far as the pin-out is concerned, I guess you are referring 25-9 pins cable.
Remember in 25 pin connector pin , pin 7 is signal ground and in 9 pin connector, pin 5 is ground.

Just make sure the cable is cross-over ( for data transmission ) and signal grounds are matched.
