I do not think you can do this from the unix command line.

on the console.

MP:CM> ls

will give the ipaddress.

Hi,

As R-J has pointed out there's no way to retrieve this info from the shell. It's only available when you're on the console (either serial or LAN) & in the MP itself as follows:

MP>CM
MP:CM>LS

Default login for the MP is
Admin
Admin

This is because the MP is actually a separate computer in & of itself. And there's very limited data available to the host from the MP directly.
