During BIOS read all machines display in ASCII , only when the X11 files are read, machines start displaying GUI. In dump terminal you never use Graphics card

have you installed the new card in a new slot? Then you have to set the console path to the graphics card in the boot sequence.
Interrupt it and check path with 'pa con' or 'pa co'.
It shows the graphic path 'GRAPHICS(N)'.
N is the number of the card slot which is set.
It should be the same like the slot you installed your new card.

Sorry, you can't use a graphics display for a boot-time console on a server. You have to use a terminal or emulator connected to the console port.
The problem is that the graph3 driver is not loaded until well into the boot sequence.
This is unique to server class (800) series systems. Workclass (700) series systems can of course use the graphics device as a boot-time console.
