Guardian Service Processor Display Frozen because of insufficient capabilities

HP9000 L2000
GSP Hardware Revision 8 Firmware Revision A.01.09 Mar 20 2000,12:45:29

HP Secure Web Console

Global version: A2.0
Software version: A.02.01.001
Boot version: A.02.01.001
Resources version: A.02.01.001

Web console logged in to GSP displays
Guardian Service Processor Display Frozen because of insufficient capabilities
but accessing the GSP via the LAN console is still working.

I've googled and trawled the forums but have not found a solution.

Any ideas?

Re: Guardian Service Processor Display Frozen because of insufficient capabilities

Hi Tony,

----
Note: Setting the Local Console Terminal Type is your choice.

It is possible that you may see the following message on the local console terminal:

"Guardian Service Processor Display Frozen
because of insufficient capabilities"

This means that someone is connected to the GSP, either via lan or modem, with a different terminal type. For example, the local console is set for vt100 and someone connects to the GSP with an hpterm.

Robert-Jan,

Thank you. I thought all my terminals and emulators were set to vt100 but shall look again.
