HP 3000 firmware encoded product and serial numbers
Does anyone know of an online method to obtain the firmware encoded product and serial numbers on an HP e3000 N4000? Instead of scheduling downtime and doing these commands at the boot menu:
>SERVICE >PN
&
>INFO >SN
(This system was upgraded at the time of order and the upgrade CE did not use the side label details)
>SERVICE >PN

Re: HP 3000 firmware encoded product and serial numbers
IMHO you should get this by the diagnostic, but sorry - I'm not familiar with MPE.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Hi Fred,
Isn't there a SHOWVAR for the product and serial numbers?

Re: HP 3000 firmware encoded product and serial numbers
Hi Mike,
None that I could find. Only HPSUSAN that is derived from the model & serial number and HPCPUNAME = SERIES e3000/N4000-400-75
Thanks, Fred
