HP 9000 RAID?
I have a HP 9000 / RP 3440 with 3 hard drives.
What is my option on redundancy? Is hardware RAID 5 possible on this machine? if it is, can you brief me or direct me to any instruction on the web on how to do this?
thanks.
Peter

Re: HP 9000 RAID?
Hi,
you can use LVM to mirror 2 disks (or even 3) or you buy a smartarray controller (SA6400 family) to build a hardware raid.
see
http://docs.hp.com/en/netcom.html#Smart%20Array%20%28RAID%29
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
