Hi all,
where I can find this driver:
HP A6826-60001 2Gb Dual Port PCI/PCI-X Fibre Channel Adapter's Driver.
I can't find it form any link about A6826 in this forums.
I want to install it on hpux 11v11.

BTW, any firmwares need to be updated before installation ?

Hi Robert,

It is hp9000/r3440.

I found it should be firmware ( PDC 44.06)adapter firmware( FW 3.03.154) .

With cstm, I found PDC N/A.
I think it required update PDC and FW.

Because in MP MAIN MENU, I found it:

he M0/4/1/0: Fibre Channel Driver has received an unexpected error status code from Firmware in response to 0/4/1/0: Fibre Channel Driver has received an unexpected error status code from Firmware in response to 0/4/1/0: Fibre Channel Driver has received an unexpected error status code from Firmware in response to a Mailbox Command.

This error is printed on screen continuely.
It is really crazy!!

How can stop it?

How can I stop error log in MP?
or stop load FC module?

It has error which I mentioned in my previous message.

It make me can't remote to on it except MP.
But in MP, it just can see full screen of error log rolling...can't login.

There is also a patch to update the servers firmware.

The HBA firmware is only used if you boot via this HBA, otherwise the driver will overlay it at runtime. So check the driver and update if needed.

You should use another connection (telnet/ssh) meanwhile if you cannot use the console.

It might be better to halt the system;
- remove the adapters
- boot the system
- install the firmware patch
- install the driver software
- shutdown -h
- install the adapters
- boot the system

That is, if you can afford downtime. And while you are updating, also check the latest patch bundles and the latest online diagnostics.
