Re: HP A6826-60001 2Gb Dual Port PCI/PCI-X Fibre Channel Adapter's Driver

There is a patch, but it depends on others and they may depend again ... so it would be better to install the latest complete bundle (see abaove) or here:

http://www13.itrc.hp.com/service/patch/releasePage.do?BC=main|releaseIndexPage|&releaseId=0812-11.11

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: HP A6826-60001 2Gb Dual Port PCI/PCI-X Fibre Channel Adapter's Driver

Hi all,

I have update with latest package.
I tried 3 driver:
FibrChanl-01_B.11.11.12/13/16_HP-UX_B.11.11_64.depot

It always remind me to install fileset:
FC-TACHYON-TL.FC-TL-KRN,r>=B.11.11.10
FC-TACHYON-TL.FC-TL-RUN,r>=B.11.11.10
.

which package included it?
For example, PHSS_31326, it contains:
FC-TACHYON-TL B.11.11.01 B.11.11.02 B.11.11.03 B.11.11.04
FC-TACHYON-TL B.11.11.05 B.11.11.06 B.11.11.09 B.11.11.12

but no B.11.11.10,where I can get it?

Thanks
Dave

Re: HP A6826-60001 2Gb Dual Port PCI/PCI-X Fibre Channel Adapter's Driver

You need this driver:

http://h20392.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=FibrChanl-01

Select the driver for 11.11.

Hope this helps!

Robert & Torsten,

Thank you very much!It does work!

-----------
# ioscan -fC fc
Class I H/W Path Driver S/W State H/W Type Description
=================================================================
fc 0 0/4/1/0 fcd CLAIMED INTERFACE HP A6826-60001 2Gb Dual Port PCI/PCI-X Fibre Channel Adapter (FC Port 1)
fc 1 0/4/1/1 fcd CLAIMED INTERFACE HP A6826-60001 2Gb Dual Port PCI/PCI-X Fibre Channel Adapter (FC Port 2)
------------

# fcmsutil /dev/fcd1
Error: FCP driver not loaded.

problem for getting WWWN, but it really made good progress!

It is on HP9000/r3440 11v11 with new installed .
1) First upgrate firmware from :
http://www13.itrc.hp.com/service/patch/releasePage.do?BC=main|releaseIndexPage|&releaseId=0812-11.11
2) HP PCI Tachyon TL/TS/XL2 Fibre Channel Driver.
http://h20392.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayInstallInfo.do?productNumber=FibrChanl00
3) HP-UX Fibre Channel driver for QLogic-based 2Gb, 4Gb, and 8Gb FC HBAs.

Re: HP A6826-60001 2Gb Dual Port PCI/PCI-X Fibre Channel Adapter's Driver

If you do

# ioscan -fnCfc

is there a device file like /dev/fcd0 ?

You should try to re-create this with insf.

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
