HP-PRC-D390 keeps hanging in the same location.

HP-PRC-D390 keeps hanging in the same location. With ( RUN F22F ) on the LED panel. It also will not boot up from the alt boot disk...

Can someone help, server is currently down I'm in an outage...

robert,

could do with more info really, but heres a few ideas.

The run codes usually mean the server is up and running. the 2nd 2 means its a dual cpu d class the first two is usually a process.

Are you getting any console output?

can you telnet into the box? see whats running?

Also if the alt disk is mirrored then it should boot providing no hardware faults are present.
Try stopping the boot and boot the alt disk with -lq option
hpux -lq from ISL prompt.

or boot original disk into single user mode and fsck the file system
hpux -is

if this still fails check the pim codes in the service commands from PDC.
Also check paths are all set correct including console.
you should have the offline diagnostics in the lif partition aswell of the boot disks.
If so boot these and run the tests

load ode and run
mapper
run
iotest
run

see if these run ok or give any errors
