HP Secure webconsole

Hi,
I have a HP secure Webconsole attached with my HP-11 workstation.Now When i tried to work through console,I could see the console opening when i clicked the access console button but am not getting the prompt...Any suggestion to get the prompt back?

I rebooted my HP server too and checked all the cables and found perfect.

Wich model your workstation is?
At wich port are you attaching the serial cable?

serial port

I had this problem with several of my webconsoles. Do the firmware update. Also, depending on what version of java you have on your PC, you may or may not see different results.

did this port setup ever work ? I mean secure web console connected to serial-1 on your workstation ? Console functionality on the workstations is finnecky at best as they take the graphical head connected to the cpu as the system console.

if it ever worked, what did you last do before it stopped working ? Any patching ??

Have you tried both term types in the web console setup, vt100 and hp2392? On my hp9000s, only the hp2392 works properly.

I also experienced problems with Java version, as mentioned already.

It was connected in the other serial port..and now i corrected it...After reboot, its working fine..thanks for everyone
