HP-UX 11v1 on R380

Hi,
I would like to upgrade my R380 server from HP-UX 10.2 to HP-UX 11.11

HP-UX 11iV2 does not support R380 server
HP-UX 11.00 support R380 server
What about HP-UX 11iV1 ?

According to the following link, 102.0 is the last supported OS for the R380

HP-UX 11iv1 does support R380 server with both 32 & 64 bit support and PA-8000 and newer processors.

hi zenari,

11i v1 will work on the R380 and runs quite well. either 32 or 64bit install but you will losse the use of eisa cards if you install the 64bit version.

Also would be better if you did a cold install rather than upgrade from 10.20 to 11i in my opinion.
You will need to check your system for required memory and disk space though as it uses/needs more than 10.20 did.
