HP-UX D380 reboot after panic

I have a D380 that I have installed 11.11 (64-bit) on recently. I find that over last 2 weeks system had rebooted after panic several times. I dont know how to diagnose what its telling me from the logs
/etc/shutdownlog =
12:00 Wed Mar 05 2008. Reboot after panic: , isr.ior = 0'10240006.0'c27088cc
10:58 Fri Mar 07 2008. Reboot after panic: , isr.ior = 0'40007.0'5c972ea0
11:32 Fri Mar 7, 2008. Reboot: (by hpcandi1!root)
13:25 Fri Mar 07 2008. Reboot after panic: , isr.ior = 0'40008.0'c53149c0

I've attached the ts99.

Can anyone help please?

you appear to have a hardware problem. Log a call with your local HP Response Centre, and get the tombstones and panic dump analysed

Thanks for the swift reply, however this is a small in house box we use intermitently for odds and ends so we dont have HP cover.

Re: HP-UX D380 reboot after panic

I took a peek at your ts99. It looks like the problem lies with cpu1, (0x20b3 & 0x20b4.)

On a D380, both CPU's are installed on the cpu/memory board, which plugs into the main system board. The cpu/memory board will have to be replaced, (the HP part # is A3262-69157.)

Hope this helps.

Re: HP-UX D380 reboot after panic

That helps thanks. In order to install HP-UX 11.11 in 64bit mode I had to upgrade the firmware on the CPUs to version 42.10. Do you think it's possible that this could be causing the problem?

Re: HP-UX D380 reboot after panic

I've just thought... I needed to update the firmware on the server so i could install 11.11 in 64 bit mode but only ran the process once. Would a single process update firmware for both processors? How do I check the firmware revision of the CPU's without taking the server down (that would involve a 130mile round trip just to check) and would this cause my panic?
help will be appreciated.

Re: HP-UX D380 reboot after panic

I have checked and both CPU's sre the sam firmware revision. Think I'll deconfigure the CPU that is causing the system to panic and see how the server performs on one CPU.
