In last 5 month i got following errors twice !
If i reconfigure cpu and reboot it works fine?
Log Entry 124: 08 Apr 2006 08:30:40
Alert Level 3: Warning
Keyword: BOOT_BOOT_ABDICATION
A failed monarch CPU is being deconfigured.
Logged by: System Firmware 1
Data: Data field unused

at boot prompt it shows following

0 0xfffffffffe780000 Deconfigured, flagged to be reconfigured
1 0xfffffffffe781000 Configured, not flagged to be deconfigured
any idea why this happening ?

Can you post the FPL ( forward progress log ) MP -> SL -> FP?
MP -> CM -> ID
MP -> CM -> SS
MP -> CM -> SYSREV
MP -> CM -> DF
It might be a case that CPU 0 is malfuncationing.

I don't see required FPL in the attachment.
I presume that you do shutdown/boot the server. Sometime with this, you see such event and error during boot right?
OR
Was there any system reset/reboot from running OS environment during those 2 occessions?
Just figuring out the scenario.. ??

I had seen this message while system rebooted ( both the times).

in event.log nothin found like dm_chasis.

Today HP Support Centre has checked system with offline diagnostic tool, he found everything ok.
