HP rp3440 - Video Display
I have the HP900 Server rp3440 but it seems the on bord Viedo card id disable & it requires the extra viedo card to connect dispaly or else I have to live with the serial port & Hyper terminal.
Is there any way to enable the on bord display ? or else let me know the PCI Video card which can work on this machine.
Thanks in Advance
Regards
Walter

Re: HP rp3440 - Video Display
If the card is listed as valid in http://partsurfer.hp.com and in the right pci slot it should be claimed and usable at boot time right after install.

Re: HP rp3440 - Video Display
Default configuration of HP 9000 server does not contain Video Card. There is no HP 9000 server has on board Video adapter. You can use X-windows on you PC to get Graphical interface. Exceed is well knows product for this.
You can install additional Video card if required: correct part number can be find out from http://partsurfer.hp.com
