HP3000 network card
Hi.
On one machine (stored as backup so I have no idea what exactly model) network speed is somehow limited to 10mbps but as far as I know all machines are A-class (A6399B, A7019C etc.) so they should have 10/100mbps card.
I have no access to this location yet but maybe You can provide me some idea?

Re: HP3000 network card
Hi Jesse,
Thanks for a reply. I know that those machines have 10/100 cards. But somehow one "stuck" with 10mbps mode and I have no clue how to enable full speed. This was machine stored as backup one and It was locked for 5 years or so. I'm preety sure that no network device beside server is configured as 10base.
Thanks in advance.

Re: HP3000 network card
I dont know.. maybe a bad card or the config for the card got messed up. When you get the box, go into the config and see if you see the card.

Re: HP3000 network card
Hi ,
The Lan Port next to DB25pin port is Service LAN that is 10 Base-T LAN Port.
The Other Port next to Service LAN port is 10/100 Base-T LAN Port.
10/100BT LAN
LED 1: Link OK/Transmit Yellow = LINK O.K.
Blink = Transmit
LED 2:
Speed/Receive = Yellow = 100BT mode
Green = 10BT mode
Blink = Receive
Please check the LAN LED 2 and confirm/Change the speed (Usaually it is autosense) LAN Configuration, if required.
Hope This Helps
