maybe someone can help me with this. I am in need of the cable to connect an HP700/22 terminal, or any terminal, to an old H30 I have in my lab. I guess what I need is the manual for the H30 so that I can get the part number for the cable. It is db25 connecting into the terminal and what looks like a PS2 going into the IO card on the server. Any help would be appreciated.

I think you are looking for this :
A1703-63003 Cable assembly - 6-pin DIN to 25-pin (M) - 5m (16ft) long - Console cable assembly
You would be better having a 700/92 or 700/96 as the console, as I do not think the 700/22 was supported.

The 700/22 will work although it is a truly dumb vt100 style terminal. SAM and swinstall and Glance are painful to navigate with dumb terminals (but it can be done). For command line work, it will be fine.
