HP9000 K Class Servers

Hello,

Please can you confirm if the Bottom Fans on a HP9000 K Class Servers are hot plug.Can i remove while server is up.

Nope, sorry, fans are not hot-swappable on a K-class.

No, you should power off your K Class server before removing the bootom fan.

a fan failure one is dead i persume this

Yes it absolutely still applied even if a fan is dead. Nothing in a K-series box is hot-pluggable or hot-swappable.
