HP9000 Server Support

I've been looking at http://www.hp.com/products1/unix/operating/public_hp-ux_systems_support.pdf Can some explain what "Obsoleted = GMS(Guaranteed Minimum Support, end of support)" and "End-of-Contract Availability Date ( ECA )" mean exactly?

Re: HP9000 Server Support

Darren,

I think what they're saying is that that date is the earliest that support would become unavailable, it might be later, but no sooner.

Re: HP9000 Server Support

Hi Darren

1. GMS- Guaranteed support date
2. End of support - No more support
3. ECA - End 0f support contract with HP

Following link may help
