HPMC crash codes
I currently own the HPmanual "What Do The Front Panel Display Codes Mean?" downloaded on my desktop and my question about it is. And I guess what I'm asking is can anyone explain exactly what it mean:
"The following codes are used by HPMC processing.
In PIM logs, the second digit will always be 0 (i.e. 20B0), but on the Hex Display or AP, they will log the CPU number as the second digit (i.e. 22B0 for proc 2)."
Does this mean if my server crashed with a chassis code of "-- HPMC Chassis Codes = 0xcbf0 0x20b4 0x5208 0x5408 0x5508 0xcbfb" proccessor 0 is bad or processor 2, from reading the manual description should read the second digit in the 0x20b4 code as the problem or what? Thx, please I need help with this......
