Re: HPUX 11i software failure

Hi Raul,

just a few questions: what CD did you use? Did you terminate the SCSI bus? This alert doesn't give enough information.

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: HPUX 11i software failure

Hi,

Check the console path (for GSP version B.XX.XX) , see the url below :

http://www2.itrc.hp.com/service/iv/node.do?source=search&node=prodITRC/WW_Start/N1|11|9|14|6|2|8

for GSP version A.XX.XX :

http://www2.itrc.hp.com/service/iv/node.do?source=search&node=prodITRC/WW_Start/N1|11|9|14|6|1|2

From GSP for other log around the time when you try to install the OS.

Also check the GSP firmware, the latest one for revision B GSP firmware is C.02.14.

You can get the firmware from this url below :

http://www2.itrc.hp.com/service/patch/patchDetail.do?BC=patch.breadcrumb.main|patch.breadcrumb.search|&patchid=PF_CHARGSPC0214&context=firmware:cpu

Hope this information can help you.

Cheers,
AW

Re: HPUX 11i software failure

Hi Raul

1. Why did you chose to reinstall OS?

2. There is a possibility of hardware failure in the system. Check GSP logs

Re: HPUX 11i software failure

Looks like failed hardware.
I'm sure there is some PIM information. Got to the boot menu, service, run PIM and post, please.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.
